Artist appreciation #3

The drawings that we draw on the side of our notebook can be just a simple doodle of random shapes, stick figures, etc. THEN we have this guy who ‘doodles’ very intricate art works that is just so cool.

I feel quite proud to know this guy is a Filipino. His name is Kerby Rosanes, and I’m just in awe with his artworks. These are art that I can so see as a work made in illustrator, but this is all traditional, which makes it way more wicked.

You can see more of his work on his instagram, and on his society6

Artist appreciation #2

So this next artist incorporates both traditional and digital art in their work, which I really find so cool. And I just absolutely love their composition in each of their art piece. Their colors are just so beautiful too. I want to learn from their art.

This artist’s name is G. Grossman, and this is their portfolio website.

Artist appreciation #1

There are a lot of artists and illustrators online, whom I find inspiration in.
Here’s one artist whose art I am just in awe because of the way they do background artwork. But not only do they make fantastic background artwork, their illustrations, drawings, and their art style all around is so lovely and inspiring. My biggest weakness is probably doing background art, but one day I would love to make something like these.

This artist’s name is Jane Bak, and this is their portfolio website to see more of their artworks.
